Steve is a multi-decade Fire/Rescue/HAZMAT/EMS First Responder. As such, he understands the difference quality/realistic training makes, when going into harm’s way. Steve has over a decade of experience in several relevant security arenas, and over 15 years of experience providing professional instruction/training to people who work in high risk environments. He has been a student of armed and unarmed combat for over 20 years and has attended numerous top Tier firearms and tactics training courses/schools.
Steve is known for his personable/approachable teaching style and his ability to tailor the information to his student’s needs. Steve has a passion for knowledge, sharing subjects that make his students more capable Self-Responders.
HEATHER H.
Heather got her start as a First Responder by becoming a Fire Department Explorer, while in High School. She progressed into a Fire Fighter position, eventually becoming a certified Fire Fighter as well as a Certified Emergency Trauma Technician. Heather has over two decades of First Responder experience spanning fire response, HAZMAT, and Search and Rescue operations. Additionally, Heather has completed several firearms and tactics courses with some of the top tier instructors in the country. Heather has been instrumental in assisting with the instruction of “Ladies Only” courses as she is extremely personable, approachable and fosters a very calm atmosphere around her.
Lastly, Heather loves animals and has a particular passion for Protection K9s. She trains protection with her Belgian Malinois a couple of times a week not including daily obedience work.
